A graduate of Clemson University with a degree in engineering, Montgomery is one of the most proficient anglers in MLF history in the “every scorable bass counts” format. In his professional career, he has two tour-level wins, 34 Top 10s, five-time qualifier for the REDCREST, and a four-time for the Bassmaster Classic. In 2022, Montgomery won the Academy Sports + Outdoors Heritage Cup at Douglas Lake and Fort Loudoun in Knoxville, Tennessee. Andy is known as an expert in dock fishing, he consistently pulls big bass off structure by skipping, flipping, and pitching.
